Arjun Atwal played a steady three-under 69 to move up to tied 27th position at the South Georgia Classic golf here Sunday.
Atwal, who is hoping for a good season to finish in top-25 of the nationwide Money List and make the PGA Tour next season, opened with a birdie and then parred the next five holes. Atwal then birdied the seventh, 14th and 18th - his only blemish was a bogey on 17th.
Atwal who was 79th on first day moved to 55th on second and is now 27th.
Bryan DeCorso hung onto his lead with a four-under 68 Saturday. DeCorso, a 36-year-old from Canada, moved to 11-under 205 and will enter the final round with a one-stroke lead over Greg Owen (65).
