Radiohead slams record company

From correspondents in London, England, 01:32 PM IST

Rock band Radiohead has criticised their record company for deciding to release a greatest hits compilation as they don't have any real hits so far.

Said lead singer Thom Yorke: 'We haven't really had any hits so what exactly is the purpose? It's a wasted opportunity in that if we'd been behind it, and we wanted to do it, then it might have been good.'

Radiohead left the record company EMI last year and released their new album 'In Rainbows' independently, contactmusic.com reports. Yorke also denied claims that they asked for 10 million pounds to rejoin the label.
