From correspondents in London, England, 01:41 PM IST

The song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by the British band Queen has been voted the best pop number of all time in a poll conducted by the website www.onepoll.com.

The song was a huge hit when it topped the charts in 1975 and gained popularity again after lead singer Freddie Mercury died in 1991. The runner up in the poll was 'YMCA' by the Village People, thesun.co.uk reports.

John Swell of the site said: 'We got a worthy winner.'
