Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams wants to make her next relationship more real after her broken engagement left her upset about the time and money she'd spent on it.

Williams used to fly last minute just to be with her unnamed fiance during breaks and her phone bills used to come up to $10,000. She also spent a lot of time planning her dream wedding, but her fiance left her. She had to call off the engagement. She had to face the financial and emotional toll and move on.

Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying: 'Relationships get very expensive. You try to fly on the red-eye (overnight plane) home, you try to spend time with him. When I was overseas, I racked up a $10,000 cell phone bill.'

But she is not deterred from ever getting married again.

She added: 'I'm not weary of it at all. I do believe there is a particular gentleman out there for me who will come when I least expect it.'
