Pop star Madonna was left disappointed after her 50th birthday celebrations when several of her guests failed to turn up.
She hosted a lavish party Saturday at the Volstead nightclub in London's West End which was attended by many of her family members and friends, reports Contactmusic.com.
'I am really disappointed. There are a lot of people who are not here tonight, but thanks to everyone who did make it,' Madonna reportedly told guests.
Her daughter, Lourdes, played a song for her from hit musical 'Fame' on a grand piano at the club and British director-husband Guy Ritchie presented her with $500,000 worth of jewellery on the occasion.
