Mexican actress Salma Hayek and her brother are being sued by a former employee against an investment venture that went wrong.

According to tmz.com, the suit was filed by Alejandro Artigas who used to co-manage a company owned by Salma and her brother Sami. The case was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court and Artigas claims that Sami 'has been guilty of ... fraud, mismanagement, and/or abuse of authority.'

While Salma and her brother were not available for comment, Bob Weiss, Sami's attorney, in a statement said: 'It was an investment deal that was no good for anyone, and we'll fight the lawsuit vigorously.'
