American pop-rock band the Jonas Brothers have vowed never to date a fan.

Band members and brothers Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas, who wear purity rings to signify their no-sex-before-marriage rule, insist that they don't have time for relationships as they are constantly touring, reports Hollywood.com.

The eldest of the band, Kevin is convinced that they would never be interested in a girl if she turned out to be a fan of the band.

'We wouldn't really want a girl we dated to be a fan. We love to date but it's almost impossible with our schedule. We're on the road at least 265 days a year, so forming any significant relationship with someone is too difficult,' Kevin said.
