American actress Christina Applegate has returned to the set of sitcom 'Samantha Who?' in Los Angeles after a breast cancer surgery, People magazine reports.

The 36-year-old underwent a double mastectomy in July after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She recovered after the operation, and her physicians say she is now cancer free.

Applegate has been nominated for Emmy Awards in the lead actress category for a comedy series and will also be a presenter at the award ceremony in Los Angeles Sep 21.
