Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman is set to star in an action-adventure film titled 'The Eighth Wonder' -- and she will also produce it.

Hollywood.com reports that the film's plot details are under wraps. However, it is known that the story centers on an archaeological discovery that sets off a globe-spanning race.

Simon Kinberg will write the script in the fall. He recently rewrote 'Night at the Museum 2' and 'Sherlock Holmes'.

Kidman will next be seen in Baz Luhrmann epic 'Australia', scheduled for release Nov 26.
