The DMK is in power due to its alliance with the Congress and several other parties, and members of allied parties as well as within DMK, do not subscribe to the views of Mu Karunanidhi regarding atheism, Hinduism, and religion in general. Merely because of Hindu temples are controlled by govt. as regards finances does not mean Mr MK shd. run amok like this. As a single party AIADMK polled many more votes than DMK but lost due to alliance.Mu K's actions visavis Hindu religion are the most atrocious and condemnable; they are far less rationalistic than the astronomically calculated Panchang of TN.
