Malaysian government firm to open office in Mumbai

Khazanah Nasional Berhad (KNB), the Malaysian government's investment holding company, plans to open a regional office in Mumbai as part of its efforts to seek more business avenues overseas.

KNB opened a regional office in Beijing last month to tap growing opportunities in China and the north-east Asian region, the New Straits Times newspaper quoted KNB managing director Azman Mokhtar as saying Friday.

Its investment in India so far include the Apollo Hospital Enterprise Ltd, official news agency Bernama said.
