At least four people were killed and 15 others injured when the bus in which they were travelling fell off a bridge in southwest China, an official said.

The accident took place Monday evening.

An official said the bus collided with a van coming from the opposite direction and then roled off a bridge in Chongqing municipality area in Wanzhou District.

Four people died on the spot while the injured were rushed to a hospital, the official said.

The cause of the accident is being investigated. No further details were immediately avaliable.
