After all-rounder Shane Watson, now his Australia teammate, off-spinner Nathan Hauritz, has no qualms in going to strife-torn Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.

Hauritz, who has been recalled to the 30-man preliminary squad for the Champions Trophy in September, said that he would be happy to travel to Pakistan to revive his international cricket.

'You can go to a number of places in this world that are dangerous. I wouldn't care where we play if it meant playing for my country. (Getting the chance) to represent your country doesn't happen all the time,' Hauritz was quoted as saying by The Daily Telegraph here Saturday.

Haurtiz and Watson's comments have surely put the Cricket Australia (CA) in a fix as senior players like captain Ricky Ponting, Andrew Symonds have expressed their reservations on touring a volatile Pakistan.

However, CA spokesman Peter Young said it could be up to three weeks before anything was decided. He added that the International Cricket Council (ICC) was carrying out its own inquiries while CA operations chief, Michael Brown, was not due back from annual leave until next week.

Young agreed with comments made by Symonds that it would be reckless to put the players' lives in jeopardy. 'The fundamental starting point is we won't be sending our players to any place which is dangerous,'' Young said.

'We understand the players' concerns. It is a concern of ours. International cricket is important to billions of fans around the world but, like Andrew said, 'It's only a game', and the issue is if we can justify sending our players anywhere where it might be dangerous,'' Young said.
