Tennis Australia (TA) announced Saturday that its team will not go to Chennai for the Davis Cup tie against India next month because of security concerns. This may result in a one year suspension of the team from the competition.

The decision followed the International Tennis Federation Board's rejection of TA's appeal to shift the tie out of India.
