As nations grow in their population sizes and use technology to increase comfort for their increased nos., cultural and spiritual values are trampled. This, all over the globe.In Tibet it is even uglier than elsewhere due to coercive methods of the Chinese govt. The non-materialistic values are tangible,and governments all over world must realize how to strike a balance bet.development and materialism/spirituality.
