From Shekhar Kapur to Kunal Kohli, Sriram Raghavan to Bhavna Talwar - all leading Indian filmmakers disagree with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan's off-the-cuff remarks slamming Danny Boyle's Golden Globe winning underdog drama 'Slumdog Millionaire' for exposing India's 'dirty underbelly'.12:02 AM on January 19

Mr Amitabh Bachhan should initiate some far reaching campaign for impressing on Indian film industry to set apart a sizable chunk of its revenues not excluding the unaccounted, black money to slum development which our government will never do except in its grossly exaggerated propaganda in this respect. IT will be better for him as a veteran with huge knowledge of his industry's obsessions, to do this, than harp on bickeringly "replying" to our filmmakers in this way.

At best this Slumdog business supported by hideous propagandas of various types and projections at less recognized international fora will help boost revenue for producers plus those who help with the gimmicks to glorify the film.

I have seen the film its not that so good to get a golden globe, why can't films like Tare zameen pe which is much better film win the race....... The director has used the emotions of common man in India to get acclamation we have given him the recognition....
