Popular stand-up comedian Vir Das, who was seen in "Mumbai Salsa", has bagged a role in Yash Raj Films' next project to be directed by actor Parmeet Sethi.

Vir will star alongside Shahid Kapur and Anushka Sharma in Parmeet's directorial debut. Apart from that, he will also be seen in Imran Khan-starrer "Delhi Belly" and says that he is happy that his capacity as an actor is being noticed in the industry.

'I guess my potential as an actor is being noticed and appreciated now. I try to showcase my art through stand up comedy, acting, music or just writing," Das said in a press release.

'This is just the beginning for me. I am new in this industry and I am learning from everyone," he added.
