Indian equity markets opened flat Friday.

The 30 share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sensex, opened with a gain of 33.99 points at 13,127.10.

The S and amp;P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange opened at 3,926.65 with a marginal gain of 0.90 points from its last close.
