The Indian equities market opened with a gain Friday. The 30 share benchmark sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) opened with a gain of 122.68 points at 13,234.53 points.

The S and amp;P Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 3962.95 points with a gain of 15.75 points compared to its last close.
