Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren Ltd has announced a net profit of $17.78 million (Rs.711.4 million) during the first quarter of this fiscal, compared to $17.33 million (Rs.693.2 million) in the corresponding period of the previous year.

For the latest quarter ending June 30, the total income increased to $274.18 million (Rs.10.96 billion) from $204.32 million (Rs.8.17 billion) in the corresponding quarter last year.
