The Anil Ambani-controlled Reliance Natural Resources Ltd (RNRL) has posted a net profit of Rs.160 million ($3.7 million) in the first quarter this fiscal, compared to Rs.150 million in the corresponding period last year.

Its income was Rs.930 million ($21.6 million) in the quarter ended June 30 2008, compared to Rs.650 million in the corresponding period the previous year.
