Actor Abhishek Bachchan will soon cease to be the brand ambassador for Flying Machine, which is among the first Indian jeans brands.

Arvind Brands, a division of textile major Arvind Ltd, had last year signed up the celebrity on a one-year contract, which will not be renewed as the brand has been re-positioned focusing entirely on the youth, company chairman Sanjay Lalbhai said at its annual general meeting Thursday.

Before its re-positioning in the summer of 2007, Flying Machine was also being patronised by people over 30 years of age, apart from those in their 20s.
