The Indian equities market closed in green.

The 30-share benchmark of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) sensitive index (Sensex), which opened at 15,430.31 points, touched a high of 15,520.71 points before closing at 15,503.92 points. It went up by 336.10 points or 2.22 percent at the days close.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) S and amp; P Nifty, which opened at 4,529.35 points, closed at 4,620.40 points. It went up by 90.90 points or 2.01 percent.
