More than 200 exhibitors will be taking part in an international conference and exhibition on alternate energy industry to be held here from Thursday.

Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy Vilas Muttemwar will inaugurate the exhibition Aug 21.

Exhibitors include Suzlon Energy Ltd, Tata BP Solar India, Mitsubishi Electric Asia Pte Ltd and Ghodawat Industries.

The three-day conference will deliberate upon challenges and potential of renewable energy in achieving a capacity addition of 15 gigawatt during the Eleventh Five Year Plan of India.
