Educomp to implement computer-aided education in Karnataka

Educomp Solutions, a city-based education solutions provider, Friday said it has signed an agreement with Karnataka's Department of State Education Research and Training for implementing computer-aided education in 1,571 schools in the state.

The order is valued at Rs.1,090 million and will be implemented over five years, a company statement said.

Educomp has also signed an agreement with the Chhattisgarh government for imparting computer-aided education in 52 hostels, the statement added.

With these orders, the total number of educational institutions in Educomp's information, communications and technology (ICT) portfolio has gone up to 8,912.
