Telecom solution provider Tech Mahindra Ltd Tuesday said it has registered 66.7 percent growth in net profit after tax and 29.8 percent growth in revenue in the second quarter this fiscal over the corresponding period last year.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs.3.02 billion in the quarter under review as against Rs.1.81 billion in the year-ago period.

The company's revenue stood at Rs.11.64 billion for second quarter, up from Rs.8.97 billion.

'Tech Mahindra has been able to show consistent performance despite the financial turmoil in global markets,' Tech Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra said in a statement.
