GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL), the operators of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here, will organize a shopping festival Sep 19-Oct 24, a company official said Thursday.

Courtyard Marriott Hotel and Jet Airways, along with all the retail and food and beverage outlets in the airport premises, are sponsoring the festival, said a statement by the company.

'A host of special offers from the retailers and food and beverage outlets in the airport will be made available. All the fliers and visitors, who spend a minimum of Rs.300 or more at any of these outlets located in the passenger terminal building, will be entitled to a coupon that will enable them to enter for weekly draws as well as a grand lucky draw contest,' said P. Sripathy, CEO of GHIAL.

Those flying Jet Airways will be entitled to special additional discounts at all the outlets, except the Landmark, on showing their boarding passes.

The weekly prizes include a night stay for a couple, inclusive of breakfast, at the Novotel Hyderabad Airport, and complimentary passes for A.R. Rahman concert, to be held at the GMR Arena behind the airport Oct 24.

The grand prizes for the draw will be announced on stage during the concert, and these will include return tickets to Singapore and Dubai, courtesy Jet Airways, and a five-star hotel stay in Singapore through Courtyard Marriott.
