IIM Lucknow to train teachers

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) will resume its programme to impart innovative and effective teaching methodologies to teachers in Uttar Pradesh, said an official Saturday.

IIM-L has been training teachers under the District Institute of Education Training programme of the State Council for Education Research and Training.

'The third phase of our training programme will start from June 2,' said Sushil Kumar, a professor at IIM and director of the programme.

He said the focus of the training will be to impart managerial skills to the teachers while exposing them to new teaching methodologies.
