Oscar winning actor Sir Michael Caine says he was overwhelmed when he had to share a private jet with legendary singer Frank Sinatra.

Caine was dating Sinatra's daughter Nancy during the 60s and he was awestruck during the flight to Las Vegas.

'All of a sudden, I froze. Tongue-tied. Sinatra said, 'Mikey, what's up? You scared of flying?' And I had to admit to him that it had suddenly hit me, I was sitting on a private plane with Frank Sinatra,' contactmusic.com quoted Caine as saying.

'I'd known him all my life in some way, and here I was talking to him. I said 'Frank, I'm overwhelmed.'
