EU condemns Jaipur blasts

From correspondents in Brussels, Belgium, 10:01 PM IST

The European Union Wednesday said it 'whole-heartedly condemns' the bomb attacks in Jaipur, EuAsiaNews reported.

'These attacks clearly demonstrate that terrorism is a serious threat to all states and to all peoples. No cause, no grievance, can justify acts of terrorism,' noted a statement issued by the EU Presidency, currently held by Slovenia.

The terrorist attack Tuesday evening killed at least 63 people.

The 27-member European bloc expressed its deep condolences to the families of the victims, and wished a fast recovery to those injured in these atrocities.
