Jeev Milkha Singh, looking for his first win in the season after twice finishing second, will tee off in the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Club here Thursday in the company of last week's Irish Open winner Richard Finch and Michael Campbell.

India's other challengers in the event are S.S.P. Chowrasia, who goes out with Carl Suneson and Pelle Edberg, while Jyoti Randhawa will play alongside Andrew McLardy and Alejandro Canizares. Shiv Kapur will play with Lee Slattery and Rafa Echeqnique.

This is the 25th year in a row the tournament has been played at Wentworth Club.

The tournament will also see some of the big names like World No.3 Ernie Els and World No. 9 Vijay Singh alongside Luke Donald, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson and Lee Westwood to fight it out for the coveted title.

The field also includes Major Champions Angel Cabrera, Campbell, Retief Goosen, Paul Lawrie and Jose Maria Olazabal and eight time European Tour Order of Merit winner Colin Montgomerie.

The 150-strong field will be competing for a record prize fund of Euro 4,500,000, the biggest prize fund on the 2008 European Tour international Schedule outside the Major Championships and the individual World Golf Championships.
