Actor Owen Wilson is upset over his ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson's friendship with cycling champion Lance Armstrong.

Wilson, who split for the second time with Hudson earlier this month, is 'drinking and sulking' ever since he heard that Hudson is in a new relationship with Armstrong, new-magazine.co.uk. reports.

A source said: 'There are a lot of people making sure they are there for him (Wilson). We all thought it would be Wilson breaking Hudson's heart, but it turned out to be the other way around. It is sad because deep down they love each other, but they are too lethal a combination to last. And Hudson has her son, Ryder, to think of.'

Wilson had attempted suicide a few months ago but seems to have recovered.
