No more parties, says Peaches Geldof

From correspondents in London, England, 12:00 PM IST

Peaches, the daughter of Irish singer Sir Bob Geldof, says she is reforming by staying away from the party scene.

Peaches was a party regular and embarrassed herself, but she has now given that all up.

Mirror.co.uk quotes her as saying: 'I can't be bothered going out and falling out of Bungalow 8 p***ed any more. I've been at home, eating takeaways with my boyfriend Faris (Badwan) and watching DVDs. We got the box set of the 1970s series 'The Prisoner', which is brilliant.'

Her father, who organised the hugely successful Live 8 concert, has laid down some rules after a video of her allegedly buying drugs from a dealer was released.

She added: 'There's so many unexciting things I've been doing. I've been filming and working on a collection of short stories. And I'm going to Queen Mary's University in September to study English and film so I've got loads of pre-revision to do. I'm not interested in going out.'

A source said: 'Peaches got a fright from the police interview. And the dressing down by her dad was just as scary. He told her to lay low and stop clubbing for a bit and it seems to have worked.'
