Ne-Yo apologises to Lindsay Lohan for doubting her

From correspondents in London, England, 01:03 PM IST

Pop singer Ne-Yo has apologised to actress Lindsay Lohan for assuming that she was a bad singer. He now says that the actress has a 'ridiculously fabulous' voice.

According to ananova.com, Ne-Yo had written the song 'Bossy' for Lohan's upcoming album 'Spirit In The Dark', but admits that he had doubts about her singing skills.

He said: 'Straight up and down I thought it was gonna suck. I was like, Lindsay Lohan are you joking? Are you serious?'

He added: 'What the hell am I going to do for Lindsay Lohan? I took it as a challenge. And we put together a record for her.'

And after Ne-Yo heard Lohan's song, he was effusive in his praise saying the voice is 'ridiculously fabulous'.

He said: 'It's a quality record. One that I didn't think she was going to be able to pull off. Again, I will admit that I had to eat my words. I tried to call her and apologise for the assumption.'

The album will be out Nov 4.
