India's Shiv Kapur fired two under 69 to be tied 21st after round one of the Omega European Masters in the European Tour golf.

Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy leads the field at eight under 63 at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club here Thursday

Kapur's round of 69 included birdies on the 12th, 14th, first, sixth and seventh while he found bogeys on 11th, 16th and eighth.

Gaurav Ghei and Digvijay Singh shot rounds of two over 73 to be tied 106th.
