Pop star Britney Spears will reportedly return to Britain for the first time in four years to perform on TV talent contest "The X Factor".

Spears was coaxed back to Britain by music mogul Simon Cowell who begged her to perform on his show, reports Hollywood.com.

Everyone is thrilled to have Britney, which is a massive coup. They expect ratings to go through the roof when her performance airs, a source told British newspaper The Sun.

This will be Spears' first visit to the country since her tour in 2004.
