Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow says her friend and pop superstar Madonna helped her overcome post-natal depression following the birth of her second child.
Paltrow had the baby blues after giving birth to her second son Moses in 2006 and hailed Madonna as a saviour who helped her through the dark months, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"She (Madonna) is one of the most caring women and also a very tough woman. She's very wise and has a very soft side. She's given me a lot of great advice ... she really helped me out of my post-natal depression," Paltrow told Oprah Winfrey on her show.
Other stars to have suffered post-natal depression earlier include Courteney Cox, Brooke Shields, Elle Macpherson and Angelina Jolie.
