Supermodel Naomi Campbell is in secret talks to become the new face of the Italian fashion house Dolce and Gabbana (D and amp;G) in a deal said to be worth 1 million pounds.

'Naomi will be the guest of honour at the D and amp;G fashion show in Milan this week. It's all part of welcoming her to the clan,' dailymail.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

'She and Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been in secret talks for a while about making her D and amp;G's next face. They have had a relationship that spans decades and now the plan is for Naomi to be their official muse and ambassador.

'She'll be at the shows and will star in their worldwide advertising campaigns. An absolutely huge deal is on the table,' the source added.

The designers threw Campbell a birthday party in Cannes in May this year where the deal was first discussed. Campbell is already the face of fashion houses Yves Saint Laurent and Pinko.
