Hollywood singer-actress Lindsay Lohan is weaving plans to adopt a child.

Lohan insists she is happier than ever since finding love with DJ Samantha Ronson and is looking forward to the future, reports dailymail.co.uk.

'At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well - a child in need or a newborn from another country. Though I'm not sure yet,' she said.

Lohan would be the latest in the list of Hollywood stars who have adopted, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Sharon Stone, Sheryl Crow, Calista Flockhart and Mia Farrow.

The couple is reportedly also looking at buying an apartment in New York.
