Alan Mcgee, the man who discovered British rock group Oasis, wants to leave the music business now because he is "bored'.

According to thesun.co.uk, McGee had set up the now famous Creation Record and was involved in discovering other bands like The Libertines and Primal Scream.

A source close to him said: "Alan has been involved in the scene since the early 1980s and has finally had enough. He's winding down his management company at present and will wash his hands of the entire scene by the end of the year."
