Former 'OC' star Mischa Barton is planning a TV comeback alongside Hollywood funnyman Ashton Kuthcer.

Barton, 23, has a leading role with Kutcher in the show based on the fashion world and titled 'A Beautiful Life', reports the Dailymail online. Supermodel Elle Macpherson also makes a cameo appearance in the show.

'It's a younger version of 'Sex And The City'. I play a super-bitchy model in New York, which is fun but hard because that is so not me. If the pilot does well, I may be spending a lot more time in New York,' she said.

Barton moved to Paris in 2007 to design handbags and jewellery and has already filmed a pilot episode for the series.
