India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles breezed into the semi-final of the Internazionali BNL D'Italia tennis with a 6-3, 6-4 win over the sixth-seeded Polish pair Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowksi here Friday.

The fourth-seeded Indo-Bahamian pair next play second seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia.

Meanwhile, the third seeded pair of India's Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy will play their quarter-final match against Brazalian Bruno Soares and Zimbabwean Kevin Ullyett.
