Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue has announced her first US tour with stops at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom and Los Angeles' famed Hollywood Bowl.

The superstar has lined up six dates for autumn 2009, which will start with a show in Oakland, California, at the end of September 2009, reports contactmusic.com.

'I've wanted to tour in America and Canada for years and know that fans have been waiting a long time for this. I'm thrilled that the opportunity has finally arrived,' she said.

Minogue's recent 'KyleX2008' tour visited 21 countries and raked in an estimated $70 million in ticket sales.
