American singer Mandy Moore, who did not stick to formula singing, says her music is different from Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.

The 'Candy' singer shot to fame at the same time as her pop rivals did, reported contactmusic.com. Moore said that she was able to show the different side to her music.

'Musically, they've (Aguilera and Spears) stuck to a formula that works for them and obviously has always proven successful. I don't think I found that same success singing music that really, at the end of the day, I wasn't happy singing,' said Moore.
