Diaz thanks crew for helping after father's death

From correspondents in London, England, 12:30 PM IST

Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz says she is thankful to the cast and crew of her film 'My Sister's Keeper' for helping her cope with her father's death.

The actress was filming 'My Sister's Keeper' when her father, Emilio, died suddenly after a bout of pneumonia last year. The shooting was cancelled for two weeks to allow Diaz to come to terms with her loss.

She admits that when she went back to work, she was overwhelmed by the support of the crew, contactmusic.com reports.

'I was really, really fortunate to have these people to come back to. Being able to go back to the group of people who were there waiting for me was a blessing. So that's really sort of the only way I was able to do it,' said the actress
