Bangladesh out of World Twenty20

Bangladesh were knocked out of the World Twenty20 championship after a six-wicket loss to Ireland in a Group A match at Trent Bridge here Monday.

Brief scores: Bangladesh 137/8 in 20 overs (Mashrafe Mortaza 33 not out, Tamim Iqbal 22; Trent Jhonston 3-20). Ireland 138/4 in 20 overs (Niall O'Brien 40, Kevin O'Brien 39 not out; Mashrafe Mortaza 2-30).
