Acclaimed Hollywood actor Johnny Depp says he unwinds on his private tropical retreat in the Bahamas by feeding hotdogs to sharks.

Depp and his partner Vanessa Paradis regularly visit Little Hall's Pond Cay island with their two children -- daughter Lily Rose (10) and son Jack (7), contactmusic.com reports.

And the actor admits he enjoys this unusual pastime of feeding sharks when he sails out to the outer islands of the Bahamas on board his yacht, the Vajoliroja.

'You can feed hot dogs to the sharks, but it's best to not swim when doing it,' he said.
