A picture of pop star Michael Jackson's mangled ear, pieces of which were taken to rebuild his nose, has emerged recently.

Fans have been shocked by the photo taken just days ago in Beverly Hills, California.

Thesun.co.uk reports that over the years bits of skin and cartilage had been taken from Jackson's ear to rebuild his nose. He has managed to hide the damage under his long hair since the late 1990s when he first had tissue removed for his nose.

Douglas McGeorge, president of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, claimed the shape of the ear was 'consistent' with cartilage removed from the shell.
