American actor Alec Baldwin says that he will take retirement in March 2012.

The 'Cooler' star insists he'll consider himself a former actor when his current contract on TV show '30 Rock' expires in three years, reported imdb.com.

'In March 2012, I'll wake up and say, 'What am I going to do now? Am I done?' I think I will be done. I may finish a play or something, but I'm retiring at the wrap party,' said the actor.

And he hopes his decision to walk away from showbiz will allow him to lead a quiet family life well away from Hollywood.
