MLM (multilevel marketing) firms are among most notorious of public cheaters, maybe with a few exceptions. The reported incident is very likely the tip of the iceberg of colossal and routine cheating business. The CBI, not the state crime police, should ruthlessly book the criminals and help teach them a lesson for generations to come with expeditious, deterrent, severe punishment for cheating investors. Similarly, gold and diamond jewellers engaged in smuggling, in a network of various public interests.
